Location: Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporate Headquarters (7812 Palm Pkwy, Orlando, FL)

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 11:00 am – 7:30 pm (days off are Sat/Sun)
• 5-day workweek, totaling 40 hours
• Additional hours may be available per business need
• Eligible for benefits!

Pay Rate: $20.40 per hour

Position Summary

As a member of the professional staff, contributes specialized knowledge and skill in a discipline (e.g. Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Information Resources, Operations Planning & Support, Sales & Marketing) area to support team and/or department business objectives. Generally, works under limited supervision, but within established guidelines, monitoring the flow of work between own department and others in alignment with business strategies, selecting and developing effective managers and work teams, managing own organization through reliable systems and processes, and producing and analyzing more complex business information to assist in the decision-making process.

Job Summary

Patrols all areas of the property; assists Associate/Visitors/Contractors. Monitors Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system. Locks property entrances when required. Conducts daily physical hazard inspections.

Responds to accidents, contacts EMS or administers first aid/CPR as required. Assists owner/guests/associates during emergency situations. Notifies appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents. Defuses Associate/Visitors/Contractors disturbances. Calls for outside assistance if necessary. Completes incident reports to document all Loss Prevention related incidents. Handles all interruptions and complaints. Resolves safety hazard situations. Escorts any unwelcome persons from the property without interrupting the orderly flow of property operation. Reports to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts. Calls for assistance using proper code responses.

Completes a Safety and Security shift summary/daily activity report. Maintains confidentiality of all Safety and Security and property reports/documents; releases information only to authorized individuals. Conducts investigations and gathers evidence. Conducts interviews with relevant parties.  

Expected Contributions

• Reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and completes safety training and certifications. 
• Follows all company policies and procedures, ensures uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintains confidentiality of proprietary information, and protects company assets. 
• Welcomes and acknowledges all Associate/Visitors/Contractors according to company standards, anticipates and addresses Associate/Visitors/Contractors service needs, assists individuals with disabilities, and thanks owners/guests with genuine appreciation. 
• Speaks with others using clear and professional language, prepares and reviews written documents accurately and completely, and answers telephones using appropriate etiquette. 
• Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others, supports team to reach common goals, and listens and responds appropriately to the concerns of other associates. 
• Complies with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Stands, sits, or walks for an extended period or for an entire work shift. 
• Moves, lifts, carries, pushes, pulls, and places objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. 
• Performs other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.  
• Attention to customer service with a professional and pleasant personality.
• Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Surveillance/Patrol

• Patrols all areas of the property by foot or vehicle using specified equipment (e.g., flashlight, high visibility jacket) to ensure Associate/Visitors/Contractors and meeting rooms are secure and assist Associate/Visitors/Contractors with room access.
• Monitors Closed Circuit Televisions (CCTV), perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system to ensure that any unusual behavior or emergency is dispatched to appropriate personnel for investigation and recorded.
• Locks property entrances during designated times.
• Conducts daily physical hazard inspections and reports any unsafe conditions or work practices.

Incident/Emergency Response

• Responds to the scene of Associate/Visitors/Contractor
