Agile and fast-paced, we ensure production continues effectively and efficiently.<br/> </p><p><b>Be part of the solution</b></p><p></p><p>As our Product Line Scheduling and Competency Specialist (PLSCS) you will be leading the Baker Hughes real time geoscience operations team and take a supporting role in supporting the wider remote operations teams based in Stavanger Norway. <span>You will ensure flawless execution by coordinating field personnel resources according to the activity requirements, personnel competence levels and personnel availability. </span></p><p></p><p>As the Product line Scheduling and Competency Specialist you will also be responsible for:<span> </span></p><ul><li>Leading the scheduling and planning of remote geoscience, log delivery and remote operations personnel across all operations in Norway.</li><li><span>Assigning crews to jobs, initiating mobilisation and de-mobilisation optimising personnel utilisation whilst minimising overtime</span></li><li>Developing strategies to optimize resource allocation and ensure efficient utilisation of workforce capacity.</li><li>Collaborating with department leads to forecast staffing needs and plan accordingly to meet project timelines and objectives.</li><li>Providing guidance and support to managers in identifying career development opportunities for team members.</li><li>Implementing processes for tracking and monitoring employee progress, performance and career aspirations.</li><li>Conducting regular career development discussions with employees to identify goals, strengths, and areas for improvement.</li><li>Designing training programs and initiatives to support employee skill development and career advancement.</li><li>Mentoring employees, providing guidance on career paths and assisting in navigating career progression opportunities within the organization.</li><li>Staying updated on industry trends and best practices related to workforce planning, career development and talent management.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Fuel your passion</b></p><p>To be successful in this role you will:</p><ul><li>Have experience in a people management, resource allocation and succession planning role within the oil and gas sector</li><li>Have some knowledge of offshore operations across any product line or service i.e reservoir navigation, drilling operations, wireline, logging etc</li><li>Be a change agent, understanding quickly where improvements can be made</li><li>Have finely tuned communication skills that are adaptable to diverse team members</li><li>Demonstrate an aptitude for leadership and the ability to influence</li><li>Have a problem-solving mindset and can-do attitude</li></ul><p></p><p></p>
