About the Role:Join Furniture Mart as a Non-CDL Furniture Delivery Driver and be a crucial part of our team delivering quality furniture to our valued customers in Gretna, LA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can showcase your driving skills and customer service expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport furniture to customer locations.
• Load and unload furniture items with care to prevent damage.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and installations.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and updates.
• Assist with assembly and setup of furniture in customers' homes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.

Requirements:

• Valid Chauffeur's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in delivery or driving roles preferred. 
• Ability to lift heavy furniture items (up to 75 lbs) safely.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of furniture assembly and installation is a plus.
• Must be team-oriented and able to work well with others.
