This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving problems, driving improvements, and championing product quality. What You Will Do:
- Conduct internal, product, and process audits; track non-conformances through to closure
- Lead and support problem-solving using 8D, A3, 5 Whys, and Fishbone techniques
- Monitor quality KPIs (PPM, Warranty, OOBA) and develop action plans to address gaps
- Analyze trends in quality data to proactively identify and implement improvements
- Participate in APQP activities (FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP submissions)
- Validate product/process changes through capability studies and inspections
- Train shop floor team members on quality standards, inspection procedures, and visual controls
- Support supplier quality through qualification and audit activities
- Partner with cross-functional teams on product launches and daily production
- Root cause problem-solving and driving corrective/preventive actions
- Analyzing complex data to make informed decisions
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders across functions
- Working with integrity and a strong sense of ownership for product quality
- Adapting to change and leading improvement initiatives with a positive, can-do attitude
- Teaching and coaching others on quality standards and best practices
- Proven experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (RCI, 5S, Tiered Management)
- Strong technical knowledge of quality tools: SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, etc.
- Ability to conduct audits, lead problem-solving events, and drive measurable improvement
- Understanding of quality metrics and how to influence them positively
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and engaging the shop floor workforce
- A detail-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
