Job Summary
The Building Infrastructure Project Manager will oversee the planning, design, and construction of building projects from inception to completion. This role requires a blend of engineering and construction expertise, project management skills, to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Project Planning: Develop detailed plans for tenants and building improvement renovations, along with building equipment infrastructure projects; including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Attend and complete project calls/walk thru’ s with vendors, tenants, and stakeholders as the point of contact for each project. Complete project-related contracts, purchase requisitions and work orders, as needed.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the safety and functionality of buildings.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of maintenance and renovation work occur. Ensure projects meet timelines and quality standards.
Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with building occupants and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing any concerns. Monitor project scope to prevent scope creep, reviewing requests and impacts.

Process Improvement: Collaborate with engineers and other building operations staff for efficiency.
Skills and Background You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering or construction mgmt. is required. PMP or equivalent is preferred.
7-9 years of facilities/building related project management experience.
Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure they are completed on time and within scope.
Proficiency in facilities management software and tools.
Exceptional customer service skills. Ability to provide high-quality service to customers, tenants, and stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and ensure project success.
Proficiency in building infrastructure and construction concepts: A solid understanding of building systems, electrical systems, maintenance best practices, regulatory requirements and controls, HVAC systems, plumbing, and life safety systems and overall building construction is necessary.
