A Day in the Life
This position is responsible for leading the strategic product development for next generation products in the CGM sensors and Insulin Infusion product families utilizing the Product Development Process (PDP). The Program Director will serve as the Core Team Leader and lead large cross functional teams successfully through complex medical device development. Our Product Development organization focuses on addressing the needs of people living with diabetes as well as care givers and health care professionals. Our goal is to develop systems to enable people living with diabetes to live a life without limits.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Leads cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products and therapies
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing programs and serves as liaison between project management, the Core Team, and Senior Leadership
Manages the development and implementation process of a company’s products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes
Drives status of programs and budgets; manages programs risk, schedules and Core Team performance
Leads the program from initiation through delivery
Assesses program issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer goals and objectives
Develops mechanisms for monitoring program progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and other stakeholders
Communicates with stakeholders, obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree
10+ years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience
OR
Advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience
