How will you make a difference?
Your will be responsible of Welding and assembling metal pieces and products by using handheld welding equipment. Sets up parts for welding; uses hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures. Works from specifications, drawings, and weld symbols. Prepares and completes work on materials by welding, cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal.

- Our job titles may span more than one career level. The hourly range for this role is between $20.00-$27.00 an hour.

The actual hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands, and work location. What do we want to know about you?
- Able to work 1st shift hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- High School Graduate or GED.
- 1+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Must possess the ability to use tools and equipment that are needed to perform the assembly operations in an industrial setting.
- Must have good listening and communication skills.
- Able to work well with others to be a good team player.
What will your typical day look like?
- Read blueprints and drawings using GD&T and take or red measurements to plan layout and procedures.
- Determine appropriate welding equipment or method based on drawing or material requirements.
- Operate angle grinders to prepare and finish dress parts that must be welded.
- Set up components for welding according to specifications with proper fit-up.
- Align components using calipers, rulers, clamps, and fixtures.
- Must be able to perform a final inspection of welds using proper weld gauges.
- Repair fixtures, components, or equipment by welding pieces and filling gaps.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a condition that assures safety by using 5S principles.

- Employee is regularly required to talk and hear and pass yearly vision tests.
- Employee is required to wear appropriate PPE such as steel toe boots and safety glasses.
