How will you make a difference?

Your will be responsible of Welding and assembling metal pieces and products by using handheld welding equipment. Sets up parts for welding; uses hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures. Works from specifications, drawings, and weld symbols. Prepares and completes work on materials by welding, cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal.

The actual hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands, and work location. What do we want to know about you?

• Able to work 1st shift hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• High School Graduate or GED.
• 1+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Must possess the ability to use tools and equipment that are needed to perform the assembly operations in an industrial setting.
• Must have good listening and communication skills.
• Able to work well with others to be a good team player.

What will your typical day look like?

• Read blueprints and drawings using GD&T and take or red measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Determine appropriate welding equipment or method based on drawing or material requirements.
• Operate angle grinders to prepare and finish dress parts that must be welded.
• Set up components for welding according to specifications with proper fit-up.
• Align components using calipers, rulers, clamps, and fixtures.
• Must be able to perform a final inspection of welds using proper weld gauges.
• Repair fixtures, components, or equipment by welding pieces and filling gaps.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a condition that assures safety by using 5S principles.
