Neuromuscular Regional Sales Director - Central - 3069921

We are looking for potential candidates with rare disease experience for a Neuromuscular Regional Sales Director opportunity. In this role, you will be leading a team to support a pharmaceutical company for the innovative medicine they provide to patients, physicians and healthcare organizations.
Requirements:
- Four-year college degree (B.A., B.S. or equivalent) required
- Minimum two (2) years previous pharmaceutical sales management experience at the regional/district level required
- Experience selling and managing selling in rare disease required
- Neuromuscular products or Duchenne muscular dystrophy experience strongly preferred
- Product launch experience required
- Account Management experience in a multidisciplinary setting required
- Experience working with a start-up or high growth organization preferred
- Demonstrated level of proficiency with support technology (PC and CRM tools, Microsoft Teams)
- Duties may require compliance with client requirements that all those performing services on-site to be fully vaccinated
Position Descriptions and Duties:
- Recruit, interview and select Sales Representatives and subordinate Field Managers
- Handle performance reviews, personnel issues, discipline and termination of Sales Representatives and subordinate Field Managers
- District Managers shall make regular field visits: to develop and motivate Sales Representatives for attainment of sales objectives; to assess and monitor field activity and work schedules; to monitor and manage field reporting by Sales Representatives, including call reporting, and sample reporting (when applicable)
- Communicate with Client field/regional managers on regular and timely basis
- Assist with the planning and delivery of training and periodic sales meetings
- Review and approve expense reports; monitor compliance with expense policies.
- Monitor compliance with Promotional Program, and proper use of Promotional Materials and Promotional Expense Budgets
- Monitor compliance with PDMA and sample accountability procedures, when applicable
- Monitor timekeeping and attendance

The potential base pay range for this role is $185,000 - $225,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
