About the Role
We are seeking a Specialist to join our Project Controls & Analysis Team.
As a Specialist you will be a key member of our team, providing expert advice and executing tasks related to the development of original budgets, maintenance of the control budget, tracking commitments, capturing of accruals and monitoring the impact of changes and identification of trends. You will also develop and maintain key reports in Excel and mainly in Power BI for communicating Project and P&T information within the functions as well as to key stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities as a Specialist Project Controls & Reporting will include:
• Implement project controls methodologies, strategies and systems.
• Monitor and support project controls deliverables.
• Develop and maintain the project budget and forecast.
• Track actual commitments and capture actual cost.
• Generates reviews and analyses the appropriate, mandated cost reports monthly from a single data source.
• Develops Power BI reports as requested
• Execute risk and quality management plans.
• Implement capital efficiency initiatives.
• Confirm adoption of the WBS and schedule by project stakeholders.
• Provide cost flow forecast input to Finance and other project leadership members.
• Validate adoption of operation’s cost engineering standards into the program scope.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be able to demonstrate:
• Required – Bachelor’s degree in engineering or finance/accounting related.
• Required – Experience in Project Controls roles.
• Experience and demonstrated skill in identifying trends, investigating solutions and determining actions.
• Skilled in the preparation and presentation of reports and training.
• Proficiency in MS office Excel, Microsoft Word, Power Point and SharePoint
• Experience in using a Project’s cost system.
• Preference of experience in using SQL, Power BI and EcoSys
Location
This is a Tucson based role offering permanent opportunity working Monday to Friday, reporting to the Lead Project Controls & Analysis.
