Manager, Accounting (Accounts Payable)

American National is seeking a full-time, accounts payable team member to process various types of organizational invoices/journal entries, finalize payments with the treasury department, and oversee team members. To thrive in the position, you should have accounting experience with specialization in accounts payable, be a task-driven individual who is detail oriented and take pride in leading by example.

Onsite Placement Location: League City, TX. (Relocation benefits will be assessed accordingly) 

 

How you will make an impact:

Oversee, train, develop, and mentor team members
Responsible for processing various types of invoices for payment
Process journal entries
Coordinate payments with the treasury department
Collaborate with the legal compliance team to ensure invoices are paid timely

 

Qualifications:

Five years' minimum, combined relevant work experience in accounting, accounts payable, and leadership
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Senior level, Supervisory, Management, and/or Team leadership experience
Ability to work hours outside of normal business operations during peak periods (Typically, January-March annually)
 

Preferred skills:

Insurance industry experience
SAP software experience
