Description
We are looking for a Medicare Advantage Call Center Representative to play a crucial role in ensuring the satisfaction and well-being of our clients by providing exceptional customer service and support regarding their Medicare Advantage health insurance needs.
You will serve as a primary point of contact for enrollees, assisting them with inquiries, claims processing, policy explanations, and issue resolution. Your dedication to delivering top-notch service will contribute to enhancing our company's reputation and fostering long-term relationships with our clients. The ideal candidate will be a “people person” with a friendly, outgoing personality.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with their health insurance policies.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, addressing questions related to coverage, benefits, claims, and billing.
- Assist customers in navigating insurance forms, documents, and online portals, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
- Process insurance claims efficiently and accurately, verifying coverage, coordinating with healthcare providers, and resolving any discrepancies or issues.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints or concerns, escalating complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor when necessary.
- Educate customers on healthcare terminology, insurance terminology, and policy features to empower them to make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as claims processing, underwriting, and sales, to ensure seamless customer service delivery and resolution of customer issues.
- Keep abreast of changes in healthcare laws, regulations, and insurance policies to provide up-to-date information and advice to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and inquiries using CRM software or other designated systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of customer service processes and procedures by providing feedback and suggestions for enhancement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years experience with insurance payer customer service experience including Medicare Advantage
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong understanding of health insurance terminology, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset, with a passion for helping others.
- Proficiency in using computer software and navigating web-based applications; experience with Microsoft software and CRM software preferred
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to accuracy.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
