Job Description
Purpose: The Clinical Consultant is responsible for clinical support and device training related to the trial stage of the sales process. The Clinical Consultant applies clinical expertise and sales skills to guide customers in decision-making towards the acquisition of a speech generating device.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Increase sales by:
- Providing consultations* to speech-language pathologists while trialing Lingraphica speech- generating devices (SGDs)
- Providing trainings* to clients trialing SGDs and to their communication partners
- Fostering and nurturing relationships with SLPs through outreach and events*
- Collaborating with all departments and teams within the organization to promote best practices and facilitate funding for SGDs
*In-person when possible
Contribute to company growth and product development by:
- Providing clinical insights to advocate for customers’ needs
- Acting as a liaison between SLPs and Lingraphica departments
- Contributing to special projects and interdepartmental work groups
- Exhibiting at tradeshows and conferences, as needed
Qualifications
Education/Experience
Formal Education
- Bachelor’s degree, required
- Masters in Speech Language Pathology, required
Licensure or Certifications
SLP license and CCCs
Continuing Education
- Internal compliance of insurance/reimbursement regulations
- CEUs, as needed to retain SLP license
- Awareness of latest advances in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) industry including new disease states/diagnoses and treatment options for patients with aphasia, apraxia and dysarthria
Work Experience
- 5 years of experience in speech-language pathology and/or clinical sales
- Knowledge and experience in the treatment of aphasia
- Prior sales experience preferred
- AAC diagnostic experience preferred

Schedule
- Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
- Ability to work the Pacific Time Zone as needed. Frequency will vary depending on the needs of our customers.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
Incumbent works from home and is expected to maintain a safe, productive work environment with secure internet access. The ability to operate a computer with or without a reasonable accommodation is required.
Travel
Travel to Lingraphica’s home office and to cities within the continental United States for company related meetings and conferences may be required two times per year. Travel to national conventions and conferences, as needed
