We are recruiting a Senior Clinical Site Lead (Sr CSL) to be based in Sweden. This key role focuses on driving study execution, site management, and operational excellence while ensuring compliance with all regulations and Abbott’s procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead site management and study execution throughout all phases of clinical studies.

  • Act as the primary contact internally and externally for study sites in Sweden.

  • Coordinate clinical studies, from start-up to closeout, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

  • Develop and maintain productive clinical sites, identifying appropriate investigators and site-specific strategies for patient enrollment.

  • Monitor site performance and implement solutions to meet study goals.

  • Review and verify data accuracy and completeness from investigational sites.

  • Lead compliance activities, including audits, adverse event reporting, and protocol deviation management.

  • Provide mentorship to clinical site management team members and support onboarding activities.

  • Serve as the EMEA protocol champion for assigned studies, consulting on study design and related activities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing expertise on local regulations and requirements.

Your Profile:

  • Background in engineering, science, health science, nursing, or a related field OR equivalent experience in cardiology or clinical research.

  • Fluency in English and the local language; additional European language skills are a plus.

  • Proficient in MS Office and clinical databases (preferably Oracle).

  • Strong self-development skills and ability to work independently.

  • Expertise in medical terminology, clinical study conduct, and regulatory compliance (ISO standards, FDA).

  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

  • Team-oriented approach with a constructive attitude.

  • Advanced knowledge of clinical and outcomes research study design.

  • Willingness to travel up to 70%, including internationally.
