YOUR MISSION (The Job Description)
The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day Accounts Payable function to ensure the safeguarding of assets and reliability of cash disbursement records.

- Assist in hiring, motivating, evaluating and supervising staff to ensure that employees receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established department objectives
- Participate with staff in the daily processing of accounts payable to ensure the efficient, accurate, and timely completion of cash disbursement processing, accruals, and reporting
- Prepare and/or review reconciliations, and research and resolve noted discrepancies
- Communicate with other company personnel and vendors to ensure cash disbursements and records are accurate and complete
- Anticipate ongoing changes, problems, and opportunities to maintain effective systems and procedures
- Review work of bookkeepers to ensure that accounts payable information is accurate, timely, and in compliance with all regulations and company policies
- Develop and maintain current accounts payable procedure manual and make recommendations for improvements
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Virgin Hotels Las Vegas' standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working
- Always comply with Virgin Hotels' standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
- Teammates must always be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow team members
- Keep management abreast of any unusual events and/or deviations of policies and procedures
- Maximize productivity, identify problem areas, and assist in finding and implementing solutions
- Perform other duties as assigned

MUST HAVE'S
- Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
- Knowledge of accounts payable and inventory control functions
- Effectively communicate in English
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements is helpful
