General Construction Coordinator II

Position Summary

ABM Industries is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Construction Coordinator II to support construction coordination efforts at the Samsung Taylor Semiconductor Plant. This junior-mid level role assists in managing construction scopes, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with Samsung’s standards and ABM’s operational protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating general construction activities across trades and subcontractors.
• Support project scheduling, milestone tracking, and resource planning.
• Monitor site logistics, safety procedures, and access control measures.
• Review construction documents, RFIs, and submittals under supervision.
• Help resolve field-level issues and communicate concerns to senior coordinators.
• Participate in commissioning support, punch list tracking, and system turnover.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment with project objectives.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in general construction coordination, preferably in industrial or high-tech environments.
• Basic understanding of construction systems, cleanroom protocols, and project workflows.
• Familiarity with MS Project, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar project management tools.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
