As a communications professional, you know how to inform and engage key audiences and help promote an organization’s desired reputation. We’re looking for an entry-level communications specialist like you, who is ready to grow and willing to win for the client and live our mission every day. Here, you’ll grow your communications and consulting skills to write, edit, and create a variety of internal communication materials designed to engage the client's workforce and raise awareness of client regulations and initiatives, reinforce organizational values, and celebrate successes.

As a collaborator on all aspects of oral and written communications, you’ll create a variety of different content, including but not limited to website copy, newsletter articles, employee spotlights, good news stories, announcements, executive presentations and talking points, and content for events such as All Hands meetings. You will also advise and collaborate on strategic communications plans, both for the organization as a whole and for discrete change communications efforts. Your creative-thinking and consulting mindset will help you inform key audiences throughout the client's organization and earn the trust of your client, team members, and other stakeholders.

You Have:   

• Experience in consulting or communications, including internships
• Knowledge of communications best practices, approaches, and theories
• Ability to develop compelling content for a variety of audiences, from senior executives to subject-matter experts and line-level employees
• Ability to be pro-active and take initiative to meet deadlines and distribute work within the team
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:   

• Experience with communications, public relations, media relations, journalism, or similar
• Ability to develop and implement strategic communications plans
• Master's degree

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
