Hiring Unit:
Computational and Data Systems Initiative
Position Summary:
- Act as technical facilitator in person and/or remote delivery, particularly in large classes.
- Provide students basic technical support during fixed delivery.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
- To be eligible for this job, you must have access to a computer, webcam, and microphone Strong knowledge of one or multiple programming software: Python, R, Matlab, Stata, SPSS Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Good command of computer operating systems (Linux, Mac, Windows) is an asset.
- Must be willing to learn recent technologies/software Organization and time management skills Proofreading skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to support multiple instructors
- Familiarity with web conferencing technology (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco WebEx)
Experience and education:
- High School Diploma with one year of relevant experience in the field of work
