Interiors Services & Specialty Products Contracts seeks a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Manager, Contracts to join our team. The successful candidate will lead a team of contracts professionals of various skill levels. They should also be skilled in commercial contract negotiation, recognized as a highly adaptive and critical thought leader and capable of working within integrated project teams while adhering to corporate governance, and policies and procedures in a fast moving and dynamic environment. Candidate must be highly organized, an exceptional communicator, an active team player, have a results-oriented mindset and be highly adaptable in an environment with rapidly changing digital technologies and competing priorities.

In addition , the ideal candidate will possess advanced contracting expertise. This includes proficiency in redlining, drafting, summarizing contract terms, negotiating, letter writing, and managing commercial contracts. This role provides a unique opportunity to apply your expertise while supporting the success of our innovative Interiors business.

This is a U.S.-based remote role with direct reports located across the country and global customer engagement. The position requires flexibility in working hours to support multiple time zones and business needs.

What You Will Do:

  • Support the professional development of direct reports, including workload assignments, training opportunities, performance reviews and mentoring.

  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers

  • Ensure all contractual activities are handled in compliance with corporate policies and procedures.

  • Conduct timely and effective negotiations and resolutions of customer issues to maximize key financial metrics; while driving their team to do the same.

  • Recognize risk elements in business transactions and contracts and offer mitigation alternatives.

  • Support integrated project teams and become well versed in technical aspects of products and services.

  • Provide strategic analysis, recommendations, and advice related to contract matters.

  • Provide contracts advice on a variety of topics including intellectual property, indemnity, and liability.

  • Prepare documentation for legal and contract negotiations and relationships.

  • Maintain accurate and organized historical contractual records in alignment with department standards.

  • Manage high volume of projects of various complexity at one time.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience

  • Experience as a Contracts Lead, with demonstrated ability to directly manage external customer engagements.

  • Supervisory or people-management experience leading contracts professionals, including developing, coaching, and mentoring team members.

  • Commercial aerospace contracts experience

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Aftermarket contracts experience

  • Experience redlining, drafting, summarizing contract terms, negotiating, and letter writing

  • Experience supporting globally dispersed customers
