Compensation & Schedule

Pay: $108,000 -$130,000

Status: Full-time, exempt

Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday with rotational on-call responsibility

Location: On-site in Salem, MA; regular field time across Salem, MA and Manchester, NH
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Customer Excellence- Ensure top-tier customer satisfaction, professional crew interactions, and high-quality job outcomes.
- Uphold professional appearance standards (uniforms, grooming) across all field teams.
- Partner with the GM to forecast workload and crew capacity.
- Own recruiting: post ads, interview, hire, and onboard production staff.
- Keep teams storm-ready, including plans for dispatching, temp labor oversight, and emergency response.
- Deliver a structured training path for every tech (LMS, DryBook, driver safety ride-alongs, on-the-job coaching).
- Schedule IICRC certifications (WRT/ASD; Master tracks a plus) and track completions.
- Conduct biweekly 1:1s for performance, career development, and skill progression.
- Target the right bench: develop and maintain required numbers of Crew Chiefs/Leads.
- Spend ~30-50% of time in the field—audit quality, coach live, reinforce safety and SOPs.
- Handle HR basics for production staff (reviews, time-off approvals, documentation).
- Build efficient daily schedules with the Office Manager and Project Managers.
- Communicate real-time crew changes and resource needs to office staff.
- Ensure vehicles, equipment, and supplies are maintained, compliant, and deployment-ready.
Must-Have Qualifications

Restoration industry experience (3+ years) — REQUIRED

Management/leadership experience (5+ years) with proven team building
- IICRC WRT and ASD (or ability to obtain quickly); Master designation is a plus
- Demonstrated success increasing revenue, utilization, and job profitability
- Strong process mindset, KPI discipline, and hands-on field leadership
- Proficiency with job management systems (e.g., DryBook), LMS platforms, Xactimate, and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record; ability to drive company vehicles
Physical & Work Environment
- Lift 50 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 100 lbs with assistance)
- Work on ladders, at ceiling heights, and in tight spaces (crawl spaces, attics)
- Repetitive push/pull/lift/carry; work around common cleaning agents
- Work in PPE and follow safety protocols
