Project Manager II, Biomedical Engineering

JOB SUMMARY

Under administrative review, performs management level work directed toward the planning, implementation and coordination of one or more major projects for an association, non-profit or similar organization. Provides analysis, financial accounting, team facilitation and recommendations to ensure timely project completion and compliance with sponsor requirements.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience or equivalent combination. Master’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration or related field preferred.  Three years’ experience in project management, program management development, administration or supervisory experience preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Implement and manage projects that includes budgetary tracking/oversight and submission of progress reports to various leaders and stakeholders.
• Execute operational activities to ensure the team/leadership stay on track to successfully meet and exceed the expectations of the sponsor and institution.
• Recruit/enroll participants using a variety of various recruitment strategies.
• Manage all aspects of REDCap data and participant tracking, updates, and revisions. 
• Responsible for all major aspects of the IRB and regulatory activities for the projects.
• Manage ordering of needed supplies.
• Compile and analyze (recruitment and feedback) data to provide rapid analysis/informal data reporting to inform project planning, scheduling, and presentations. 
• Participate in the writing of progress reports to the sponsor.
• Prioritize project implementation and activities that will ensure the projects effectively meet goals/milestones set forth by the team and communicated to the sponsor.
• Assist in the development of dissemination activities such as reports, presentations, and manuscripts.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the project and implement improvements as needed.
• Collaborate/interface with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., clinical and research faculty, leadership team, staff, funding agencies, and community partners).
• Prepare and present reports on project activities, outcomes, and financial status to leaders and stakeholders.
• Assist with the preparation, submission, and management of internal or external grant awards being submitted.
• May supervise the work and manage performance of assigned staff, graduate students or consultants.
• Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein.

• Skilled with all MS Office applications, Adobe, REDCap, and other software applications used to manage programs
