In this role, you will be at the forefront of our mission to extract valuable information from our complex signals and develop advanced mathematical methods for data analysis. We are looking for individuals with a strong background in mathematics, computer science, or physics, who possess a genuine passion for innovation and are curiosity-driven and resilient against challenges. We are building something that no one has ever done before, for that we need people who are ready to think outside the box and that are not afraid to go beyond the scientific status quo. We’re looking for candidates at various seniority levels. </p><p><strong>How your job will look like:</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct in-depth research and develop mathematical models to analyse complex biosignals generated through our photonics platform.</li><li>Apply advanced information processing techniques, Bayesian statistics, and machine learning methods to extract meaningful insights from data.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate your insights and data analysis solutions into our cloud libraries, contributing to the development of personalised medicine solutions.</li><li>Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in mathematical modelling, data analysis, and related fields, and apply that knowledge to enhance our research capabilities.</li><li>Publish research findings in high-impact journals and present at conferences to showcase iLoF's cutting-edge technology and establish a strong industry presence.</li></ul><p>Note: Due to the high volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.</p><p> </p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Must: PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Computational Biology, or a related field. Exceptional candidates with a Master's degree and proven research experience will also be considered.</li><li>+3 years of experience after the PhD in academia / industry  solving related problems.</li><li>Strong theoretical background and practical experience in mathematical modelling, information processing, Bayesian statistics, and machine learning. Experience in time series analysis would also be very handy. </li><li>Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Matlab or Julia for data analysis and algorithm development.</li><li>Proven track record of innovative research demonstrated through research papers, conference presentations, online repositories, or relevant projects.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically to tackle complex challenges in data analysis.</li><li>Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present research findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Experience supervising junior members would be welcomed but is not essential. </li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>iLoF in a nutshell <
