Overview

Join our dynamic and innovative team as Technical Design Sample Operations Administrator and play a pivotal role in driving the efficiency and quality of our tech design processes. This position is perfect for someone passionate about fashion, organization, and working in a fast-paced, creative environment. As the backbone of our fitting team, you'll be responsible for ensuring seamless sample tracking, fit preparations, and supporting the Tech Design team in delivering outstanding product quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage Sample Workflow: Efficiently track and manage all incoming and outgoing samples, ensuring that each piece is logged accurately and promptly.
• Fit Agenda Organization: Build and organize fit agendas 7-9 times per week, ensuring all fit sessions are well-prepared and run smoothly.
• Fitting Preparation: Take charge of organizing fit racks, setting up fit rooms, and maintaining spec folders to ensure all fit sessions are executed without a hitch.
• Library Management: Keep the seasonal rack library neat, organized, and up-to-date to ensure that the team always has access to the latest samples.
• PLM System Expertise: Learn and operate within our PLM system, tracking and logging FTY fit samples with precision.
• Garment Measurement and Specification: Accurately measure and specify garments to ensure they meet the required standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate sample management.
• Misc: Oversee daily department operations and ensure that process run smoothly. Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed. Responsibilities may evolve, and additional tasks may be assigned as necessary to meet the changing needs of the organization. 

Qualifications:

• Background in Excel and PLM
• Organizational Mastery: Extremely well-organized and detail-oriented with an ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability: A quick learner who thrives in a constantly changing environment, eager to embrace new challenges and team needs.
• Time Management Skills: Strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Multi-tasking and Flexibility: Ability to stay calm under pressure while balancing various projects.
• Communication Pro: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate needs and updates to team members.
• Creative Insight: Basic artistic skills in drawing, illustrating, or color theory are a plus, allowing you to better contribute to the creative process.
• Team-Oriented: A collaborative spirit with a positive, humble attitude and a focus on supporting the team’s success.
• Reliable and Consistent: Strong memory retention and dependable attendance with a high level of stability.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe Creative Suite, and PLM or WEB PDM systems (training available if needed).
• Educational Background: A BFA in Fashion, or related field, and strong academic performance (A-level school credits) is a plus.

The base salary range for this position is $68,000 - $72,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
