Warehouse Manager - Cleveland, OH

Description

The Warehouse Manager ensures the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Processes purchase orders, monitors inventory levels, coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
• Inspect physical conditions of warehouses, vehicle fleets, or equipment and order testing, maintenance, repairs, or replacements.
• Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
• Plans truck routes based on orders received and reviews SmartTank to maximize route efficiency.

Requirements

• CDL Preferred, not required
• Forklift experience preferred, not required

• Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases.
