Job Summary
Leviat is seeking a Production Assistant to coordinate with team members across the organization, facilitating communication and streamlining workflows. The Production Assistant will track production metrics and assist in implementing production plans, contributing to the overall productivity and success of the manufacturing environment. They will support the team in meeting project deadlines and quality standards and work closely with all levels of management and employees to ensure safety and promote our safety culture.

Job Responsibilities
- Prepare, organize, communicate, and maintain accurate records and metrics, auditing as necessary.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to meet production standards and customer satisfaction.
- Facilitate communication between production teams and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Organize training sessions for production staff on new equipment or production techniques.
- Create Visual Operating Procedures (VOPs) for standard startup and operations of equipment.
- Document machine setup procedures to include weld settings/schedules for individual products tying back to quality.
- Assists Safety Coordinators with LOTOTO Updates
- Create Purchase Orders for raw materials and maintenance supplies as necessary.
- Assist with the collection of production data.
- Will be available to provide support to production supervisors and QC technicians when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High school or equivalent preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
