Pool Server

Job Summary

A Pool Server is responsible for providing prompt, friendly, and attentive food and beverage service to guests in the pool. This role ensures an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high service standards, cleanliness, and safety while maximizing food and beverage sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus in a timely manner

• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system

• Serve food and drinks efficiently and professionally in poolside areas

• Ensure guests’ needs are met throughout their visit

• Maintain cleanliness of poolside tables, chairs, and service stations

• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and comply with responsible serving guidelines

• Process guest payments accurately and handle cash or credit transactions

• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service

• Assist with setting up and breaking down poolside service areas

• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations

• Adhere to company policies and hospitality standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred

• Food handler’s certification (if required by local regulations)

• Alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS or equivalent, if required)

• Basic math and POS system knowledge

• Strong communication and customer service skills
