Project Overview:
Bechtel is partnering with NextDecade to support their vision to provide the world access to lower carbon intensive energy with their Rio Grande LNG (RGLNG) project in Brownsville, Texas.
RGLNG is a natural gas liquefaction and export terminal situated on a 984-acre site on the banks of the Brownsville ship channel. The first phase of the RGLNG project consists of three liquefaction trains, two storage tanks and one marine berth. At full capacity, the five-train facility will have a production capacity of 27 million tonnes per annum (MTPA).

Job Summary:
In this role, you will assist with material planning and/or material coordination for a medium project site. Planning activities will include clear identification of required materials, and details for how they will be stored and shipped. Coordination activities will include reporting of material work package statuses for installation. Your efforts will assist with adequate and accurate materials and equipment at the jobsite. #LI-CS1
Major Responsibilities:
Material Coordination
- Performs material coordination activities at a jobsite within material discipline of responsibility to ensure the accurate reporting of material and equipment work package statuses for installation
- Monitors planned inventory control mechanisms, such as min-max and bag-and-tag and uses Digital Supply Chain tools
- Continuously performs priority allocations to ensure material availability well in advance of installation requirements
- Coordinates material availability in support of design revisions, rework, contingency or work-around plans
- Participates in Construction and/or Subcontractor planning meetings to be fully aware of changes in installation plans and priorities
- Coordinates with warehouse personnel for materials to be issued direct to the installation area, as opposed to being controlled in storage
- Coordinates the constructability look ahead meetings
- Prepares the site constructability reports as inclusive of 30, 60, and 90-day lookaheads
