Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Analyst, Profitability Reporting for Deere & Company located in Moline, IL, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Lead a team of financial analysts and provide work direction to complete monthly closing deliverables
- Work with Deere reporting unit data and corporate inputs to complete monthly profit by product reporting
- Analyze data for reasonability and error detection, continuously assess and improve processes to drive increased value and reduced inefficiency.
- Develop new or improved reporting processes to handle changes in business requirements
- Support users of profit by product information in analyzing results, answering questions, and furthering their understanding of allocation methodologies
- Complete additional periodic EOMAG processes and project work on an ad hoc basis

What Skills You Need
- 5 or more years of work experience in finance or accounting related activities
- Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and financial analysis skills
- Detail oriented, analytical, data-driven, adaptable, and responsive
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
- Effective communicator and willing to coach domestic and international units on current process and required process changes
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and a positive attitude to contribute to team success
What Makes You Stand Out
- Project management experience or other demonstrations of change management.
- Demonstrated forward thinking and ability to use data to provide early insights.
- Experience with Power BI or other data analytics tools.
- Knowledge of accounting systems and policies, especially prior experience with product line reporting and BPC
Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, Economics, or other relevant degree
