We are looking for a Senior Supervisor, Maintenance to work at our facility in Riverside - CA

What You Will Do

  • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, mechanics, and electricians.

  • Plan, prioritize, and assign daily maintenance work to support production schedules.

  • Ensure timely execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.

  • Monitor equipment performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase reliability and efficiency.

  • Coordinate maintenance activities during planned shutdowns, repairs, and emergency breakdowns.

  • Maintain compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental standards.

  • Review maintenance work orders, labor utilization, and spare parts inventory.

  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.

  • Analyze maintenance data and prepare reports on equipment reliability, downtime, and maintenance KPIs.

  • Support capital projects, equipment installations, and process improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities using CMMS or maintenance management systems.

  • Availability to work flexible hours, weekends, or on-call schedules as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

  • 3–5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.

  • Experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment.

  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS software.

  • Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Previous experience leading or supervising maintenance personnel.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Reliability Maintenance experience.

  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Continuous Improvement methodologies.

  • Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and production systems.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
