Job Description Qualifications:

BGS in San Antonio is searching for a San Antonio Work Place Coach - Structural (Experienced) to join the team and make an impact!

In this role you will be critical in the effort to reduce rework and improve first time quality, Promote safety, and initiate process improvement across all Aircraft Programs on the San Antonio Texas site. Your Structural expertise will be instrumental in building a strong versatile work force that will drive down cost while bolstering production and first-time quality.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Candidate must be self-driven, and have the ability to learn all tooling and program design
  • Must be familiar major structural repairs and modifications (Ex. Major Spar Beam and primary Structure repairs)
  • Must be familiar with close tolerance drilling and processes.  
  • Must be comfortable reporting out to site and senior leadership.
  • requirement for all site programs.
  • Must be able to work with minimal oversight and deliver positive results, while adhering to all Safety and FOD Pro’s and Processes.
  • Must have good people skills in a teaching / coaching environment.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience with modification experience at an airline or an MRO.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience with aircraft fuselage or wing structures assembly, maintenance or repair
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience as a proven leader with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints
  • Work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit. Candidate must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
