About the Technical Enablement Specialist – Vonage: 

The SMB Technical Enablement Specialist serves as a dedicated resource for SMB partners, delivering product expertise, training, and strategic enablement to drive partner success. This role bridges the gap between onboarding and long-term productivity, ensuring partners are equipped with the technical knowledge and confidence to effectively position and sell Vonage solutions. 

By combining white-glove 1:1 support with scalable group training, the Specialist deepens partner relationships, boosts retention, and reduces reliance on Sales Engineers—freeing up ICMs to focus on pipeline growth. 

Location: US - Remote 

What will you do?    

  • Deliver ongoing product enablement sessions (live, virtual, and recorded). 

  • Conduct targeted deep-dive training post-QBRs to address partner-specific challenges. 

  • Provide product feedback and insights to inform product development and SMB strategy. 

  • Become the SMB team’s subject matter expert in high-priority product areas (e.g., VCC). 

  • Maintain expertise in product fit, implementation processes, integrations, and technical limitations. 

  • Serve as a bridge between iCMs and the SE team, ensuring seamless technical support and knowledge transfer. 

  • Handle SMB product demos and education to reduce SE dependency. 

  • Join ICM and AE partner calls to provide technical and product expertise as needed. 

  • Align with Vonage University and enablement initiatives while tailoring content to SMB needs. 

  • SMB partners view this individual as their trusted technical resource. 

  • ICMs report increased bandwidth for pipeline generation and partner selling. 

  • Partners engaged through this role demonstrate higher retention, deeper product adoption, and increased deal sizes. 

 

What Will You Need to Succeed?
