Job Summary:
The Lead, People Business Partner is a key leadership role within our People Team, reporting to the Sr. Director of People Experience and working closely with the Head of People and our Management Team. This individual will be responsible for driving our people strategy while directly supporting a business function as a People Business Partner (PBP). They will mentor and lead a team of PBPs, embedding people experience tools and training into the fabric of our organization. With a strong focus on data discovery, insights, and transformation, this leader will use surveys, systems, and feedback mechanisms to tell a compelling story, influence decision-making, and drive meaningful change in a fast-evolving environment.
The PBP team serves as the main point of contact for all people matters, including compensation and benefits liaison, employment law and relations, performance frameworks, change management, and people best practices. This leader will ensure that the PBP team is aligned, well-equipped, and positioned as trusted advisors to employees and leaders.

Primary Responsibilities:
Lead & Mentor the PBP Team:
- Provide coaching, development, and guidance to the PBP team, ensuring alignment with business needs and people strategies.
- Embed people experience tools, training, and best practices into everyday business operations.
- Ensure PBPs are trusted advisors for all people-related matters, including compensation and benefits inquiries, employee relations, performance frameworks, and employment law compliance.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and high performance.
Be a Strategic Business Partner:
- Act as the direct PBP for a designated function, demonstrating best-in-class support and engagement strategies.
- Build strong relationships with management and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to deeply understand business needs and challenges.
- Use people data, engagement surveys, and feedback to craft insights and drive strategic initiatives that enhance employee experience and organizational effectiveness.
- Provide guidance on change management, talent strategies, and people best practices to support leaders in driving business success.
Drive Change & Continuous Improvement:
- Lead change management efforts that support our evolving business, ensuring alignment between where we are today and where we need to be.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, leverage technology, and implement scalable solutions that empower leaders and employees.
- Champion transformation initiatives that create ease, efficiency, and impact across the organization.
Leverage Data to Drive Decisions:
- Conduct deep analysis of people data to uncover trends, measure effectiveness, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Develop and present data-driven insights that inform leadership decisions and drive meaningful change.
- Ensure that people metrics are aligned with business goals and talent strategies.
Foster an Agile & Forward-Thinking Culture:
- Exhibit flexibility, curiosity, drive, and accountability in navigating the complexities of a growing, dynamic organization.
- Serve as a thought partner to leaders, helping them anticipate and adapt to evolving workforce needs.
- Proactively identify challenges and opportunities, ensuring the People Team is seen as a strategic driver of business success.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in HR, including at least 3 years in a people leadership role.
- Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
- Experience as a strategic PBP, partnering with senior leaders/executive leadership in a complex, fast-paced environment.
