Job Description

In this role, you will collaborate across different departments and provide guidance to peers, leveraging your growing expertise in the field. This position requires deep AEMS domain knowledge.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the implementation and integration of technical solutions for customers.
• Provide expert knowledge and experience to collaborate with the customer to convert business requirement to technical requirements, estimate the technical effort required to implement complex software solutions, support in tender reviews and the development of scope of work.
• Perform technical analysis activities, such as requirements gathering and gap analysis of user requirements. Find ways to bridge the gap through configuration, customization or enhancements. Convey gap to product management function.
• Contribute to the definition of GE Vernova's digital products and solution architecture and development of detailed design specifications.
• Collaborate with Project Managers throughout the project to identify and scope applications changes, and propose solutions/help project manager determine the strategy and drive the change management process.
• Lead with cross-functional teams as required for the solution and implement processes to ensure best use of GE Vernova's digital products and services to meet project requirements.
• Own technical deliverables during the entire lifecycle of the projects.
• Engage throughout the full lifecycle of assigned projects, influencing decisions on architecture, design and functionality to keep projects on track in terms of budget, time, and customer expectations.
• Effectively leverage product capability, driving standardization, limiting customization, and maximizing reuse of content developed for previous solutions.
• Follow technical review processes and provide insights for product enhancements.
• Maintain strong customer relational and communication skills.
• Lead onsite workouts and develop technical presentations for internal and external customer.
• Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with team members, customers, and leadership.
• Effective apply GE Vernova execution methodology and project standards.
• Maintain & continuously update technical skills and knowledge.
• Work independently as well as part of the team.
• Provide technical support to the commercial teams and sales process improvement.
• Actively participate in early-stage product installations.
• Create efficient delivery processes for new products.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 5+ years of experience in enterprise software and large distributed systems.
• Strong software development skills in software analysis, design, methodology, and architecture and agile methodology.
• Programming experience in software development - HTML5, Eclipse or Netbeans, Java, Javascript, and JSON
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required
• This is a hybrid position, requiring candidates to be based within communiting distance of GEV hubs.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong Energy Management System (EMS) background (SCADA System, Network, Generation, OAG and DTS) in system integration and site commissioning roles from engineering design phase till final delivery
• Experienced in deploying VM in VDC for EMS, PDS, DTS, MDL, FEP and RDS Server with required software application installation and configuration.
• Experienced in using GE e-terra product on e-terra habitat, e-terra control e-terra browser, e-terra platform, e-terra SCADA, FG builder, DBB , ETS ,OAG, DTS,  e-terra achieve, ISD protocol.
• Proven abilities in on-time in-full delivery of EMS/DMS projects.
