Job Description:

About the Role:

As a Global Trade Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the company's compliance with all international trade regulations and laws along with ensuring the company is up to date on any changes in trade policies.

This role is based out of Green Bay, WI in our Willowbrook office and includes the oversight of imports and exports, managing customs documentation, conducting monthly customs audits, and maintaining accurate reporting. Additionally, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate product classification for tariff purposes and compliance with all applicable trade agreements and restrictions.

You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Monitor trade activities to ensure compliance with international regulations, including export controls, customs duties, and sanctions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to collect documentation for audits within strict timeframes.
• Analyze data from various sources to assess actual and potential tariff impacts.
• Support the annual Free Trade Agreement (FTA) qualification process and handle ad hoc requests for FTA certificates of origin.
• Conduct regular audits of U.S. trade compliance activities and prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities.
• Create duty reports to validate ACH debit payments through the ACE Periodic Monthly Statement (PMS).
• Serve as backup for generating GST payment reports for Revenue Canada using Excel and the CARM system.
• Assist with import and export processes, including shipping coordination, customs clearance, and documentation for U.S. and Canada.
• Classify products using Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and Schedule B codes, ensuring accurate tariff and duty assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of import/export documentation, including invoices, licenses, and certificates of origin.
• Collaborate with logistics, procurement, legal, and finance teams to ensure compliance with all recordkeeping requirements.
