Base Pay: $20 to $22.50 per hour based on experience
Weekly Pay
Benefits Start on Day 1
SHIFT
Monday - Friday, 12pm - 8pm
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Loading, Shipping & Receiving Associate plays an essential role in ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely movement of products throughout the facility. In this position, you will support daily warehouse and logistics operations through order processing, shipment preparation, inventory accuracy, and coordination with carriers and internal teams. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and commitment to quality will help maintain smooth workflow and exceptional service for both internal stakeholders and external customers.
This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced environment that requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities. You will contribute directly to the accuracy, productivity, and safety goals of the operation.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Order Processing & Documentation
- Review, print, and process orders for picking and shipping.
- Prepare all required shipping documentation including bills of lading, labels, export paperwork, and other related forms.
- Conduct ship‑confirm activities to ensure orders are completed accurately in system records.
Shipping & Carrier Coordination
- Coordinate trailer availability and determine appropriate carriers for outgoing shipments.
- Create all necessary paperwork for gutter coil shipments to support proper loading procedures.
- Research, trace, and troubleshoot shipment issues as needed.
Inventory & Quality Control
- Maintain inventory locations, pick primaries, and perform inventory adjustments as required.
- Audit product picked for customer orders to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Assist with finished goods cycle counts and ongoing inventory control efforts.
- Process customer returns and resolve shipping discrepancies.
Reporting & Communication
- Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Collaborate with the Customer Service team in Kansas City regarding order status, returns, and customer-related inquiries.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Daily and weekend overtime may be required based on business needs.
- Must adhere to all productivity, quality, and safety expectations.
- Work may involve exposure to warehouse environments, including noise, temperature changes, and physical activity.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- High school diploma required; advanced education is a plus.
- Proficiency in computer databases, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self‑motivated with a genuine commitment to supporting team success.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, decimals, and percentages.
