About the Role:

As the Principal Core Data Platform Engineer at TeamSense, you will be part of our next generation of Platform development. This platform will drive our APIs, Standardization, Integrations, Workflows; and also enable new data structures, data insights and analytics. You will be part of the team leading the Platform transformation at TeamSense. 

Requirements:

Minimum qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience designing, building and supporting large scale systems in production.
• Deep knowledge of Python, C#, Go
• Experience designing and building distributed Public and Private web services and APIs. 
• Strong technical understanding of database architecture and hands-on experience with data modeling
• Experience in queues, scheduling, event-driven architecture, and workload distribution.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational, non-relational and columnar databases (e.g. Postgres/Mongo/Redshift).
• Experience working with product, sales, customer success/support

Bonus qualifications:

• Experience with ElasticSearch
• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker
• Experience developing SaaS products hosted in the public cloud (we are in Azure)
• Prior accomplishments optimizing Cost to Serve

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive API-first architecture
• Build centralized, declarative API platform with standardization
• Own data modeling, schema, metadata and implementation of the platform 
• Build a family of first-class APIs that enable integration, workflows and other key services 
• Build light-weight SDKs and libraries that can be leveraged for TeamSense Customer Success and Operations
• Drive migration of our existing monolith to microservices / serverless functions. 
• Build a high performance, scalable and secure TeamSense platform.

Base Salary Range: $225,000-$250,000
