Senior Accountant

Description

Timbers Hospitality Group is seeking a full time Senior Accountant to join our team of professionals working closely with department managers, directors and officers. This position will report directly to the Director of Finance. 

A successful candidate will perform a variety of duties which may include recording activity for corporate bank accounts, auditing gaming reports, approving multiple location invoices, and month end closing procedures such as reconciling corporate bank accounts, prepaids, corporate credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts.  The candidate will also manage fixed assets, file monthly sales and use tax, and assist in preparing month end financial statements.   

Requirements

  Knowledge/Education/Experience/Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred. 
• Five years of accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read, interpret and develop processes and procedures.
• Attention to detail, deadline driven and good problem solving
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Primary work at corporate office.
• Normal schedule is Monday - Friday but some flexibility may be required.
• Work mainly accomplished on desktop/laptop computer or office/cell phone. 
• Normal periods of standing, sitting, computer work, meetings, etc.
