ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provides friendly service to every customer.

Protects company assets by adhering to Illinois gaming regulations.

Verifies jackpot payouts.

Observes money and chip transfers throughout the property.

Performs security related issues as outlined in the internal controls.

Works closely with other departments to achieve property and department goals.

Adheres to all department and company policies and procedures.

Acts as a role model and presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourages others to do the same.

Completes all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

 21 years of age or older required.

Valid Driver’s License required.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Updated AED and CPR certification required (Or must be obtained within your first 90-days of employment).

Security experience preferred.

Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling customer needs and concerns.

Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays and weekends.

Must be able to obtain a Level-2 Illinois Gaming Board license.

internal candidates must meet Harrah’s Joliet’s Transfer Eligibility Requirements.

JOB DEMANDS:

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and carry objects weighing up to 40 lbs.

Must be able to work in areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.

Position requires 30% standing, 10% sitting, 60% walking.

Requires some kneeling and reaching overhead.

Requires frequent bending, pushing, twisting, climbing and stooping.

Must be able to respond to touch, speech, smell, aural and visual cues.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment involving constant public contact
