What you’ll be doing:
- Lead a team of engineers to ensure that we deliver high-quality silicon to all internal customers, through system level bring up of next generation SOC
- Drive the creation, maintenance and execution of bring-up plans for new silicon with specific focus on HW. Execute tests to establish functional health of our SOCs both under nominal and PVT conditions
- You will work directly with cross-functional teams during product life-cycles to ensure reliable and robust operation of the SOC
- Lead debug efforts from HW side to root cause feature sequences bugs, silicon bugs and complex system level issues caused by interactions between multiple HW and SW features
- Craft creative solutions through lab experimentation and effective use of debug tools, to achieve high product quality at very aggressive schedules
- Demonstrate leadership and ability to navigate through dynamically changing schedules, priorities and logistical/technical constraints
What you must have:
- BS or MS degree in EE/CE or a related discipline or equivalent combination education
- 12 + years of experience in SOC validation and embedded systems development
- Strong EE fundamentals, knowledgeable in digital design, signal integrity, statistics, timing analysis, power analysis, fault analysis, sampling, computer architecture
- Validated hands-on lab experience with silicon bring-up, lab debug and lab tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers)
- Deep understanding of firmware/driver structures and their interaction with HW
- Helpful to have prior experience with SOC/processor design, or development
The salary range for this position is $175,200 - 257,500. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
