Manager, Order Management

Our partner is looking for a Manager, Order Management in Portland, OR.

In this role the leader of order management is responsible for the coordination of fulfillment, managing customer order activity through the order fulfillment cycle.

Responsibilities

• Ability to handle as well as coordinate a team that processes internal/external the entire life cycle of purchase orders management
• Plan and guide regular meetings to align demand vs deliveries, examples but not limited to:
  • Vendor management
  • Work with warehouse to improve delivery performance
  • Assist planning team with inventory optimization (Inventory Turnover and Safety Stock management)
  • Coordination with Repair Team to optimize REN utilization lowering operational costs
  • Support reverse logistic flow with WH and Transport (Surplus/DEF/etc)
• Ability to run cost out initiatives to improve E2E
• Coordinate with Transport team on deliveries
• Follow-up on exceptions in the MRP
• Knowledge with setting and working with Key Performance Indicators

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in supply chain, operations, business, logistics, project management, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain or operational domain that includes working with KPIs
• Skilled with business tools (MS Office), outlook, word, excel, and powerpoint.
• Experience working in a large matrix international organization is beneficial
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP). With the ability to coach and mentor a team on best practices (e.g. material movement/management).
• Expected travel 25%
