Job Summary
Reporting to the VP of Operations, the NY based RDO will be an experienced inspirational People Leader with strategic and operational abilities, outstanding communication skills, and the proficiency to work at the highest levels of an organization while relating well to the general workforce. The savvy business leader will be the relationship link for Restaurant Associates, our premier client and team members. You'll lead the business strategy, and be responsible for organizing, collaborating, and influencing with cross function teams of professionals who believe in creating innovative solutions to problems.
This is a projected opening for new business that is scheduled to open in January, 2024.
Essential Functions:
- Demonstrate and Lead R/A’s culture of C.A.R.E.
- Plans and advises business portfolio that achieves Key Performance Indicators
- Partners with senior management to discuss strategies, objectives, and obstacles
- Monitors and strategize to reach annual targets and new market solutions
- Directs and leads the cross-functional teams
- Coordinates financial objective & analysis, and supervise for profitability and losses.

- Identifies client's needs, communicates account progress and new Company programs to client.
- Conducts and/or monitors customer, client and associate satisfaction surveys.
- Attends key meetings and functions to maintain visibility.
- Delivers the corporate communications and priorities to both the region team members and clients.
- Develops and monitors realistic and accurate budget and forecasts.
- Ensures that the business is meeting financial performance and client forecasts; optimizes operational efficiency.
- Promotes the policies, practices and objectives established by the company are accurately and informally interpreted throughout the division as well as compliance with all applicable laws and safety regulations.
- Prepares and conducts performance appraisals, and reviews and approves performance appraisals completed by subordinates.
- Supports recruitment and training efforts; Develops and coaches management associates to meet staffing needs and talent management programs, as well as to ensure optimum utilization of region associates, while reducing turnover while not sacrificing quality.
- Partners with labor Relations and supports coordination of union contract negotiations; stays current and abides by all parts of collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
- Completes all daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in the corporate policies and procedures on a timely basis meeting all prescribed deadlines.
- Projects and practices consistent ownership attributes, which provide a high level of customer service at all points of contact.
Education and Experience:
- B.S. Degree, Master degree preferred
- 10+ years of progressive food service management experience,
- 5+ years experience Large Scale Multi-Site or Contract Managed Service
