Oracle Government, Defense and Intelligence is seeking an experienced Database Administrator who has a broad understanding of Oracle-based solutions, industry best practices, and technology designs. A successful candidate will operate independently to provide quality work products to our customers. Performs complex duties and tasks that leverage domain expertise to implement Oracle products and technology to provide value to our customers.
Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on intermediately complex customer engagements. Experience leading the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality and integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. Experience performing requirements interpretation, translating customer needs into system development requirements and tasks. Cultivates and identifies business development opportunities and routinely works with Oracle leadership to expand customer support. Strong communication skills with internal and external personnel are a must.
Required Skills:
· On site customer support experience
· Senior Oracle DBA with experience in Oracle Database Installations and Upgrades, performance tuning, patching and other day to day database management activities
· DBA experience Including the following Database technologies:
o RAC (Real Application Clusters), Data Guard (Physical Standby and Active Data Guard), Unified Auditing, RMAN (Recovery Manager), DB patching, hardening / STIG'ing, Golden Gate, Database troubleshooting/Fault identification
· Experience writing SQL/PLSQL code
· Experience configuring and querying Oracle Audit
· Experience with Linux (use & navigation, and shell scripting knowledge)
Role (Oracle DBA):
· Monitor Oracle 19c databases using Enterprise Management.
· Download and apply quarterly patches.
· Troubleshoot and fix issues with Data Guard.
· Troubleshoot and fix issues with Golden Gate.
· Provide support to other team members in patching the Windows server.
· Address vulnerabilities identified by security scans.
Desired Skills:
· Oracle Database Certified Associate
· Oracle Database Certified Professional
· Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certifications
· Oracle GoldenGate experience a plus
· Knowledge of software life cycle and CM practices

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
