The Team: 

The Solutions Consulting team is responsible for knowing the intimate details of all Upstart’s products and the associated economics. It must turn that knowledge into solutions and partnership models for prospective lending partners. Able to simply explain and educate partners.

As the Senior Solutions Consultant at Upstart, you will drive adoption of lending partners to the Upstart platform

How you’ll make an impact

• Work with prospective funding partners to find the best solution to solve lending problems, balancing the right amount of configuration and customization
• Partner with the sales team to execute discovery, drive to faster deal cycles
• Develop sales enablement tools and best practices
• Develop credit strategies to balance growth, risk, and return objectives of each lender
• Run simulations and analysis to show lender profitability
• Constantly stay in touch with all of Upstart’s products, models, and integrations capabilities
• Describe the technical and functional aspects of Upstart products to client stakeholders
• Interface directly with cross-functional teams within the organization (product, machine learning, engineering, compliance, legal, finance, operations) to discuss problems and potential solutions

Minimum Qualifications 

• 8+ years experience in Auto and/or home loan lending industry 
• Demonstrated experience with credit risk policies
• Experience with analytical principles, business Intelligence tools including experience with SQL
• Strong written and verbal communication skills - technical and non-technical
• Client facing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Work experience in a highly regulated financial services industry (banking/insurance/finance)
• Experience with advanced modeling techniques
• Familiarity with SaaS and Cloud architecture

Position location This role is available in the following locations: Remote 

Travel requirements As a digital first company, the majority of your work can be accomplished remotely. The majority of our employees can live and work anywhere in the U.S but are encouraged to to still spend high quality time in-person collaborating via regular onsites. The in-person sessions’ cadence varies depending on the team and role; most teams meet once or twice per quarter for 2-4 consecutive days at a time.

At Upstart, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. The anticipated annualized base salary for this position is expected to be within the below range.
