Surgical Technician - Surgical Services - Casual Call

The Surgical Technician plans, organizes, and utilizes aseptic surgical techniques in the preparation of supplies, instruments and equipment for  surgical procedures. Collaborates with others to provide a clean, safe, and efficient area to optimize care of the surgical patient. The Surgical Technician will function in the Second Assist role as needed, support the sterile processing department, performing central supply duties, assists in other surgical department duties to include patient care assistance, environmental disinfection and cleaning, safety checks and other duties as assigned. The Surgical Technician must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. 

Education Required: Graduate of an approved Surgical Technician Program.

Credential/Licensure Required: BLS required (within 6 months).

Shift: Working Casual call, meaning you work as needed. Casual Call positions are offered an additional 10% differential on top of the base hourly rate.
