Position Specific Description

FPL Energy Services (FPLES) is seeking an administrative specialist I. For this position, job duties would include processing expense reports and requesting purchase orders. The role also entails supporting the month-end invoice accrual process and scheduling meetings with directors, managers, and employees. Additionally, managing travel arrangements for directors, managers, and employees is an essential part of the job. The employee will also be responsible for supporting all logistics for quarterly townhall meetings and business unit holiday lunches. They will need to assist with office supply requests for the FPLES Organization and provide timekeeper support. Participation and support in FPLES Engagement Teams is expected. The employee may also be involved in special projects as requested by their supervisor. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work under minimal supervision.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Under minimal supervision:

  • Compiles basic information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials
  • Receives and responds to routine correspondence following established procedures
  • Exercises independent judgment and employs basic reasoning skills
  • Maintains or prepares records and documentation
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Experience: 3+ years
