Part time Triage RN - Clinical Nursing Ed

About the role

This is a clinical position that applies the knowledge, skills and experience in the provision of care via the telephone, the computer and EHR interface. This includes delivery of care in the form of triage, advice, referral, and patient education in the ambulatory care setting. The job requires an enhanced level of expertise in the assessment of patient needs, determination of level of care, and implementation of plan appropriate to the situation. The triage provider is expected to work closely with physicians and all other members of the health system staff, requiring excellent communication, teaching, and negotiating skills with a high expectation of total confidentiality when working with sensitive information. Position may coordinate and manage clinical activities. This can include workflow in the area by distributing workload assignments, based on patient schedules and phone demands. This is intended to be a hybrid/remote position.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate from accredited school of Nursing.
  • Associate's Degree Nursing.
  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 2 years Experience in health care

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing or related field.
  • 1 year Experience in clinical triage/advice. 
  • 1 year Ambulatory healthcare setting.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
