About the role

Our Rothschild, WI location is part of our Applied Health and Nutrition division and is responsible for our biopharmaceutical needs for Kerry customers and brands. This site is one of two that works with specialized lactose protein within the Kerry organization! People may not realize we're more than just great taste when it comes to food and beverage products - we truly are committed to nutrition and sciences as well!

 

Under the direction of the Sanitation Supervisor or designee, the Sanitation Technician is responsible for cleaning and sanitation of the facility.

 

Pay Rate/Hourly Rate/shift differential: $23.89

Rotating 12 Hrs Night Shift 3-2-3 Schedule - 6 pm - 6 am

Sign On Bonus: $2000.00 - to be paid $500 after 90 days, $500 after 6 months, $1000 after 1 yea

Key responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential functions of this job include, but are not limited to:

•  Understand local regulatory requirements and Kerry policies related to health, safety, and sanitation

•  Perform facility cleaning, including scrubbing, foaming, and drain &trough cleaning.

•  Collect Environmental Monitoring swabs.

•  Ensure upkeep of and follow the Master Sanitation Schedule

•  Complete CIP Titrations and adjust pumps as needed.

•  Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

•  Participate in performance, upkeep, and verification of Glass, Brittle & Plastic Inspections

•  Perform wash-up inspections and conduct ATP swabs.

•  Stock locker rooms and restrooms.

•  Perform various internal inspections and cleaning (water/condensate control, food safety/security ….)

•  Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and skills

•  This position requires a high school diploma or GED.

•  Sanitation Certificates/Training preferred.

 

Experience

•  Prior food sanitation experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar field

•  2-3 Years of sanitation experience preferred
