Director, Creative Production
The Director, Creative Production leads applied creative exploration at the intersection of storytelling, production craft, and emerging creative workflows. This role partners closely with studios and adopting business units to develop proof-of-concept and production-ready creative work that explores new tools, techniques, and approaches to content creation.
The Director builds and leads small creative production teams. These teams focus on specific projects. They get support from project-based artists and specialists when needed. They experiment, create prototypes, and deliver work in real production conditions. Working alongside Platform Integration and Engineering, this role helps shape how new creative capabilities are evaluated, refined, and brought into functional use while also exploring new storytelling methods, artistic techniques, and creative workflows that are not yet tied to an active production or brand.1
This role is designed for a senior creative leader with deep production experience, such as a former Animation Supervisor, Character Supervisor, CG Supervisor, or VFX Supervisor, who brings solid creative judgment grounded in real production environments.
