We’re looking for a User Researcher to help us build decision-making superpowers by empowering teams with insights. You will help us better understand users, customers, and potential customers of Webflow and how to bring their needs and wants to existing and new product initiatives for Webflow.
By working closely with partners in Product, Design, Marketing, and Data Science, you will leverage qualitative and quantitative methodologies to build a full and robust understanding of what people want. You will synthesize your findings into concise and easy-to-understand insights that are shareable not only with your immediate stakeholders but with all of Webflow. You will work closely with other Researchers as well a with Research Operations to help grow and improve your skills as well as our research practice as a whole.

- The cash compensation for this role is tailored to align with the cost of labor in different geographic markets. The specific base pay within this range will be determined by the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.

- Zone A: $134,000 - $181,000
- Zone B: $126,000 - $170,000
- Zone C: $118,000 - $159,00
- Canada (All figures cited below in CAD and pertain to workers in ON & BC, Canada)

- Reporting to the Head of Research
As a User Researcher, you will...
- Own end-to-end research projects, including planning, recruiting, execution, analysis, presentation, and knowledge management.
- Synthesize findings and use compelling narratives to communicate digestible and actionable insights and recommendations to a variety of partners in ways that build trust, informs, and drives consensus around key decisions.
- Influence and support the formation of technical product roadmaps and tactical solution designs that are highly usable and useful to a diverse and global audience.
- Evolve and elevate Engineering, Product, and Design’s (EPD) research capabilities by empowering non-researchers with toolkits, training, and processes to set them up for success in their own research.
- Help grow the Research function at Webflow as the Insights team continues to evolve.

Requirements:
- Demonstrated skills for collaborating closely with other Researchers, Designers, and Product Managers, particularly in a facilitation or coaching role.
- Comprehensive understanding of Product/Design/User Research as it applies to cloud-based technology.
- Strong oral and written skills a must.

- Have a proven track record of delivering research and collaborating with other teams to discover insights, identify unmet needs, craft better products, and significantly impact company strategy.
- Advocate for mixed methods approaches, combining qualitative and quantitative data to minimize bias and deliver richer insights.
- Have experience leveraging common Research methodologies, including moderated and unmoderated usability studies, contextual inquiries, in-depth interviews, surveys (CSAT, UMUX, etc), and diary studies.
- Work autonomously to drive critical initiatives forward, taking ownership over the successful outcome.
- Share work early and often, gathering feedback and building consensus to deliver high-impact outcomes, expanding your influence within the organization.
