Physical Therapist Assistant, Licensed (LPTA)- Full-Time
Who we are:
Kindred Hospital Philadelphia - Havertown and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is 66-bed hospital offering the same in depth care you would receive in a traditional hospital, but for an extended recovery period. With 57 long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital beds, we partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week so you can start your journey to wellness. Similarly, our nine-bed ARU is designed for people who have experienced the debilitating effects of acute injury, impairment or illness. We are in within a medical district close to Darby Creek and West Chester Pike expressway.

How you’ll contribute
The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in restoring function and improving mobility in Havertown, PA.
Essential Functions
- Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
- Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
- Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Information
- Team-oriented and patient-focused with strong communication skills.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Education: Associate’s degree from a PTA program.
- Experience: Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
- License: Current PTA license in state of PA.
- Certifications: CPR certification required.
