Financial Accountant

This is a remote position.

• Prepare and post month-end journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Perform month-end reconciliations of accounts and resolve outstanding discrepancies.
• Conduct monthly General Ledger (GL) analysis for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage project accounting, including monitoring budgets and liaising with project managers.
• Prepare month-end Capex and Fixed Assets reconciliations.
• Oversee bank reconciliation entries and address mismatched transactions.
• Support the financial controller and assist in internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting standards and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience in an accounting role, preferably within a high-volume, multi-location international organization.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and their practical application.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Great Plains and Microsoft D365 (preferred).
• Familiarity with project accounting processes (advantageous).
